About me
At times I have a great difficulty in describing myself other than a seeker of truth. I love God with a passion and express my passions and vision in life using the necessary tools at my finger tips. I get a bit weary when people classify Christianity as a religion, but that is the lifestyle I live out- Christianity.
Most times I am a minister of Grace, a public speaker, listener and counselor; listening and helping people navigate critical junctions in life and ensuring they make the best use of the options and ideas available to them. To me, life is one short adventure, and like a movie, it has its twists and turns. Those twists and turns are the choices we make along the way. This is the core of my passion as I speak to youths everywhere on business, life and faith. The adventure of life itself is in the journey, not the destination.
I do a bit of multimedia, design and communication. I love the idea of creating a brand and defining the way in which the same image can be projected, thus creating an impression in the mind of the beholder. I have handled a couple of IT projects and have helped design blogs, websites, multimedia interactive and prints of all kinds.
My education started somewhere in Ipaja, Nigeria at Niger Pre-age Int’l School, while my secondary education was at the Ondo Boys’ High School, one of the oldest schools in Nigeria, which was founded in January 1919. As opportunity will have it, I eventually finished with Lagos State Model College, Meiran. Then I moved into one of Nigeria’s foremost radical, technological and innovative Universities… Obafemi Awolowo University.
Graduating after lots of experiences, successes, laurels and failures, I presently work with an advertising firm in Ogba, Lagos.
At some time, I was into martial arts, learning the techniques and art of self defense and combat. In the process, became chapter president and bagged a blue belt in Flying Fist (Chung-do-kwon or traditional taekwondo); red belt (Kung fu) and a green belt in Sport taekwondo have broken bricks, planks and …bones. However, presently I just carry out light exercises to keep myself fit and strong. My battles are more spiritual than physical, and I do more of competing with myself.
I also express my passions and ideas through blogging; I blog on my experiences, opinion and ideas as I move, grow and develop myself in various aspects of my life. Most of these I do through adeolakayode.com, a weblog designed to provide apt and incisive articles and strategies engineered to anyone interested in achieving an A+ in personal growth, purity, prosperity and posterity.
